Summary: The trail starts out
with a few switchbacks to the top of Horsetail Falls, an easy hike. Trail turns into a more moderately sloped trail
to the first falls, Upper Horsetail Falls (Pony Tail Falls; type:
a quarter mile hike. At Pony Tail Falls, the trail goes into a cave and behind the cascading water providing an interesting perspective...and a
great way to get cool on a hot day! You then return to our
starting point... If you keep going (see below).

¾ hour have been allotted
to the hike itself, and is offered year-round. Maximum 47 persons. A
Trailhead Release Agreement
form is required from each member of
the group (see below *). Be prepared for inclement
weather (rain, snow, cold, etc.) during winter time tours.

consider this hike to be completely safe; in wilderness areas, possible
wilderness dangers are always present. If you plan on hiking on any
trails, a Trailhead Release Agreement form will be required for your tour. This hike is not recommended for children or pets.
